Vøntak is a New Zealand–based writer who develops a musical universe at the crossroads of languages and cultures. Ghost Nights in Louisiana is a four-part concept record tracing the journey of a young man born in the bayou, pulled through the magnetic chaos of New Orleans, tested by the polished machinery of Nashville, and ultimately called back home—where survival and music become one and the same. Blending Southern storytelling with a cinematic, almost mythic atmosphere, the project explores themes of identity, roots, ambition, and return. It is a record where the land itself breathes, remembers, and sings.
