Waterflower

Waterflower is the audiovisual project of Latvian artist Sabīne Moore, merging electronic music, plant bio-data, ecological empathy and digital intensity. Using plants and mushrooms as live collaborators, Waterflower transforms their electrical impulses into sound, creating an eco-futurist world where nature is not a symbol, but an active performer. Emerging from Latvia’s underground electronic scene, Waterflower moves between experimental pop, avant-garde electronics, ambient textures and DigiPlantCore: a self-defined collision of plant music and digital hardcore. Their live performances combine voice, beats, bio-sensors, animation and generative visuals, channeling the urgency of ecological collapse into visceral audiovisual form. Their albums All Art Is Ecological and Balta Gaisma received Zelta Mikrofons nominations, while Mycelium (Step By Step) was selected for Riga International Film Festival’s Baltic Music Video competition. In 2026, Waterflower’s music video Būrī was selected for 2Annas International Short Film Festival, competing in the International Queer Short Films competition. Across music, performance, workshops and visual art, Waterflower expands the boundaries between club culture, ecology, technology and embodied transformation.
