This Los Angeles-based glam rock quintet was formed in 1991 by vocalist Drew Hannah and guitarist Brent Wood, with Benny Rhynestone (guitar), Marc Simon (bass) and Jimmy D. (drums) completing the line-up. Contracted to Capitol Records, Under The Influence emerged in July 1992 to a lukewarm reception. Although professionally competent and technically without fault, the material proved to be both derivative and uninspired.
