Sitting far away from everything, in an old 1880 stone house in the countryside, Franz Wüstenberg knew one thing: his new beginning had to be powerful, yet more honest and vulnerable — entirely himself. When Wüstenberg takes the stage, the air instantly changes. From the very first second, you can feel the force that Franz Wüstenberg and his six-piece band unleash. The atmosphere of this Folk Rock is a play between explosive waves of energy and warm, delicate folk textures. His twangy voice paints vivid pictures of inner battles, new beginnings, and a world filled with magic. “I need pressure, energy, playfulness — but also conflict, drama, and a touch of melancholy. After their 17 city tour with Fiddler's Green they released their debut album The King’s Gambit. They are currently on festival and club tour 2026 to celebrate those milestones.
