Cuban-American artist Yvette Gonzalez-Nacer is a singer-songwriter and producer whose warm, soulful music draws from her Latin roots, jazz, pop and a lifetime of storytelling. A multi-instrumentalist and accomplished violinist, her career has taken her from Carnegie Hall to Broadway, Madison Square Garden to the Kremlin. She's performed and collaborated with artists including Jason Mraz, H.E.R., Ne-Yo, Gaby Moreno, Flor de Toloache, Engelbert Humperdinck and Justin Bieber. A Grand Prize Winner of the John Lennon Songwriting Contest, Yvette was signed to BMG Publishing (Topline Songs) by multiplatinum songwriter Billy Mann. Her work as a songwriter and composer spans film, TV and records, with original music in Dan Fogelman’s Life Itself, Replica and Miss Arizona. She composed, orchestrated and performed the theme for La Patasola. Her music has appeared on NCIS: Los Angeles, Nickelodeon’s Make It Pop and ESPN, while her songs have been released internationally through Universal France and Sony Japan. Yvette originated the role of Fate in Broadway’s Hadestown and is on the Grammy Award-winning Original Broadway Cast Recording. She created, co-produced, wrote and arranged for If the Fates Allow: A Hadestown Holiday Album and starred as Satine in the first National Tour of Moulin Rouge. Yvette is currently writing new music that puts her Cuban roots at the center, drawing from the sounds and traditions that shaped her and a lifetime spent across records, stages and screens.
