Tokyo-based producer Yuko Araki performs modular synth and industrial noise live at La Mecanique Ondulatoire. Tickets on Mood.
Based in Tokyo, Yuko Araki has spent over a decade blending harsh noise with more conventional musical structures. Her compositions combine modular synthesizers, heavy basslines, electronic rhythms, and noise discharges that can tip into chaos at any moment. Her new album V, released via American Dreams Records, pushes this approach even further, combining industrial music with club rhythms and radical Japanese noise.
