Trained at Oberlin Conservatory and the Jacques Lecoq School of Physical Theatre in Paris, she blends formal education with the raw experience of street and club performance. Recognized for her mastery of the saxophone, clarinet, and vocals, she remains a leading force in the revival of traditional jazz.
