MASTER BOOT RECORD (aka MBR) is a Computer Metal project founded in 2016 by producer Vittorio D’amore mixing together heavy metal and synthesized electronic music. Starting in 2016 releasing albums under the indie chiptune/demoscene label Data Airlines, the project moved in 2018 to Blood Music to expand its audience to the electronic scene. In 2019, MBR joined Metal Blade Records, releasing popular albums such as Floppy Disk Overdrive and Personal Computer. The project performs live as a band, featuring lead guitarist Edoardo Taddei and technical death metal drummer Giulio Galati. Joining them on this date is the band FULCI.
