Legendary pianist Martha Argerich returns to the BBC Proms alongside Lahav Shani and the Munich Philharmonic. The programme features the luminous beauty of Beethoven’s Second Piano Concerto, followed by the profound melancholy and warmth of Brahms’s final symphony. The evening opens with the dramatic Overture No. 2 by Louise Farrenc. This performance is part of the BBC Proms 2026 festival and will be recorded for broadcast on BBC TV.
