Violinist Eva Saladin focuses on the expressive power of the Baroque in this recital. Featuring music by Veracini, Scarlatti, and Geminiani, the repertoire combines virtuosity with refinement. Veracini’s Sonate accademiche showcase the violin through theatrical gestures and graceful lines, while Scarlatti’s toccata and Geminiani’s sonata offer a vivid glimpse into the Italian Baroque tradition. This performance brings together rhetoric, freedom, and ornamentation to tell a musical story.
