Stadsorganist Cor Ardesch presenteert een programma gewijd aan de drie grote B's uit de klassieke muziek: Buxtehude, Bach en Brahms. Hoewel zij vooral bekendstaan als componisten, waren zij in hun tijd ook vermaarde improvisatoren. Het concert illustreert hoe de improvisatietraditie nog altijd springlevend is. Naast werken van de meesters zelf, voert Ardesch een vrije improvisatie uit die is geïnspireerd op de muziek van Bach en diens tijdgenoten.
