Michael Messer and Chaz Jankel lead a new four-piece band that blends a blues heart with African, Caribbean, and Rock’n’Roll grooves. The lineup features a wealth of experience, delivering a warm and rocking sound. Michael Messer is a virtuoso slide guitarist and singer known for his innovative approach to the blues. His reputation as a master of his craft is world-renowned, even earning the admiration of Johnny Cash. Chaz Jankel, a legendary pianist and guitarist, co-wrote numerous hits with Ian Dury and the Blockheads and has composed several acclaimed film scores. They are joined by bassist Billy Fuller, a longtime collaborator of Robert Plant who has also worked with artists like Portishead and Massive Attack, and drummer Clive Deamer, who has spent over a decade playing with Radiohead and has performed with Robert Plant and Jeff Beck.
