Chuck Prophet & His Cumbia Shoes

Chuck Prophet’s streak of more than a dozen critically acclaimed solo records stretches all the way back to 1990. His extraordinary latest album Wake The Dead, recorded with ¿Qiensave?, dives headfirst into the world of Cumbia music. The songs are intoxicatingly rhythmic, blending rock and roll, punk, surf, and soul with the rich legacy of a genre tracing back hundreds of years. Prophet is currently working on a follow-up album to be released in 2027. Supporting the show is Peter Bruntnell, described as one of England's best-kept musical secrets.
