Sam Barker, a key figure in Berlin’s musical communities, has continually pushed the boundaries of techno. Known for groundbreaking releases on Smalltown Supersound and Ostgut Ton, he co-founded the Leisure System label. His work emphasizes collaboration and acoustic experimentation, recently partnering with Kay Sievers and Bendik Giske. This intimate evening at Zenner Saal features a continuous 180-minute live performance by Barker. The night also showcases 'Discrete Ensemble', a sound sculpture installation by Barker and Kay Sievers using eight automated acoustic string instruments. Support is provided by Tokyo-based synth artist machìna.
