Miniature Tigers is an American indie-rock and synthpop group formed in 2006. Originally from Phoenix, Arizona, the band gained early recognition through social media and was named one of the best acts on MySpace by Rolling Stone. After relocating to Brooklyn, they evolved from the acoustic-pop sound of their debut album, Tell It To the Volcano, toward more ambitious and experimental synthpop on subsequent releases like Fortress, Mia Pharaoh, and the disco-influenced Cruel Runnings.
