New York native Adam Cordero is a saxophonist, composer, and multi-instrumentalist whose work spans modern jazz and genre-crossing compositions inspired by nature. A graduate of The New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music, Cordero has performed at major NYC venues like The Jazz Gallery and Smalls, as well as internationally. His career highlights include collaborations with avant-garde legend Henry Threadgill and the release of his album Sonora with guitarist Odin Scherer. This performance features his quintet exploring soundscapes that balance robustness and fragility. The evening is structured as an 11:30 PM performance set followed by a 12:30 AM jam session.
