Seit 2018 nutzt das Institute for Computer Music and Sound Technology (ICST) einen von Winfried Ritsch entwickelten Klavierautomaten, der mit 88 Hubmagneten tanzende und hochkomplexe Tastenanschläge ermöglicht. Ergänzt durch einen 2024 entwickelten Pedalautomaten erkundet die Konzertreihe Machine Musicianship die künstlerischen und ästhetischen Möglichkeiten maschineller sowie algorithmisch generierter Musizierpraxis.
