Creamcake

Creamcake returns for two Sunday afternoons in July to the pool! The Berlin platform for interdisciplinary art brings together artists whose works move between performance, sound, physicality, and fiction. Each event unfolds as an interaction of performance, live music, and DJ sets embedded in the special atmosphere of an outdoor pool. On July 19, Barnett Cohen presents 'tactics of practice,' a performance developed with artist Shamica Ruddock and dancer Sally Butin. The work explores tensions between concealment and revelation, desire and dissonance, and space and place through the interplay of sound, movement, and time. Inspired by nightlife, the performance connects body, mood, and thought into a staging of excess and exhaustion. Additionally, Krista Papista presents her concert 'Euro Divas,' which addresses the embodiment of different identities and the creative rewriting of biographies. The event concludes with a DJ set by Character DJ, where excess, ritual, and rave merge into a collective experience.
