Death Cab for Cutie: I Built You A Tower Tour
A long musical history often begins with something as inconspicuous as a cassette. In 1997, student Ben Gibbard processed a failed relationship through nine songs recorded with friends in Washington. This project evolved into Death Cab for Cutie, a band that helped define the indie-rock sound of the 2000s with albums like Transatlanticism and Plans. After nearly three decades, ten studio albums, and multiple Grammy nominations, the band continues to perform collective memories for their audience, transforming concert halls into time machines with their introspective songwriting and melodic guitar landscapes.
