A visionary producer in the soul and funk category, Dexter Wansel is the hand behind hundreds of hits by the likes of The O’Jays, Teddy Pendergrass and Lou Rawls, whilst helping forge the identity of ‘Philly Soul.’ His productions have been endlessly sampled by popular musicians and perhaps the crowning glory is his 1976 LP Life On Mars which remains one of the most coveted jazz-funk records of all time.
