Shuteen Erdenebaatar Quartet

Pianist and composer Shuteen Erdenebaatar, originally from Ulaanbaatar and now based in Berlin, brings a unique musical voice that blends her Mongolian roots with classical training and modern jazz. Her work is characterized by lyrical melodies, rich harmonies, and sophisticated rhythmic structures. Since the 2023 release of her debut album Rising Sun, Erdenebaatar has emerged as a compelling new presence on the European jazz circuit. For this performance, she leads a quartet of talented young musicians, delivering an energetic performance marked by deep interaction and creative improvisation. The group's cohesive sound earned them the Ensemble of the Year award at the 2024 German Jazz Awards.
