Berliner Dieter Plinke hat eine außergewöhnliche Sammlung von 600 Akkordeons zusammengetragen, die nun im Rahmen des Projekts „600 Akkordeons. Eure Geschichten. Unser Berlin.“ für die Öffentlichkeit zugänglich gemacht wird. Die zweite Station dieser stadtweiten Wanderausstellung befindet sich im Rathaus-Center Pankow. Die Ausstellung legt einen besonderen Schwerpunkt auf Instrumente aus Ostdeutschland und die Hohner-Baureihe. Ein umfangreiches Rahmenprogramm mit Workshops für alle Altersgruppen, Konzerten des Akkordeonauten-Ensembles der Musikschule Fröhlich und geführten Touren begleitet das Event im „Jahr des Akkordeons“.
