Smerz
Underground βραδιά art pop
Norwegian art pop duo Smerz return to London to present their Big City Life album as part of the 25th anniversary of Italy’s C2C Festival. Comprising Henriette Motzfeldt and Catharina Stoltenberg, the duo creates melancholy soundscapes that blend classical composition techniques with computer music experimentation and pop immediacy. Their latest work uses collages to explore themes of everyday life, loneliness, and love. The event is produced by the Barbican in association with dollop and C2C Festival, which has evolved from a dance event in Turin into a major international platform for experimental sound and cross-disciplinary art.
