Experience EarthSonic installations exploring climate change with a live AV set by Paranoid London at Nxt Museum. Tickets on Mood.
EarthSonic, a global project by In Place of War, turns the climate crisis into music by working with Indigenous communities, musicians, scientists, and climate activists worldwide. As part of ADE Arts & Culture 2026, the project lands at Nxt Museum with two premieres of immersive music installations, a live AV set by Paranoid London, and an exclusive panel. The night opens with Roland's Electronic Petting Zoo, an interactive station built entirely from EarthSonic's field recordings. Vinorun explores the traditional ecological wisdom of Sabah's Bobolian community through songs based on sacred Rinait chants, featuring a collaboration between Paul Hartnoll (Orbital) and traditional Rungus musician Razif Ajip, brought to life visually by Ben Sheppee and Alistair Lomas. Two Seas contrasts the melting Bothnian Bay in Finland with the vanished Aral Sea in Uzbekistan, turning field recordings into music with installations by Ben Sheppee and Matt Black (Coldcut).
The event takes place on October 22, 2026 at Nxt Museum located at Asterweg 22, 1031 HP Amsterdam.
The lineup features a live AV set by Paranoid London, Natural Symphony, and immersive audio-visual installations by various collaborating artists.
