Amsterdam Sinfonietta en Huub van der Lubbe — Beyond Classical

For the successful annual New Year's concerts, Amsterdam Sinfonietta joins forces with an artist from outside the classical world. Following a memorable tour with De Dijk in 2014, Huub van der Lubbe returns as a soloist. Van der Lubbe, the former frontman of the iconic band De Dijk for over forty years, will perform his own songs alongside hits from the band, seamlessly woven with a classical repertoire by the orchestra. This collaboration follows his recent performance of Jacques Brel's Amsterdam at the Prinsengrachtconcert 2025.
