Festival Yokai Matsuri

Yōkai Matsuri settles in at La Petite Halle de la Villette for three days of celebrations inspired by Japanese folk festivals and yōkai, those fascinating and elusive mythological creatures. Between ancestral folklore and alternative scenes, the festival invites everyone to cross the threshold and play with the boundaries of reality. Created by French-Japanese artist Maïa Barouh, this contemporary ritual blends concerts, performances, and dance into a collective sensory experience. Each night becomes a masked ball where attendees are invited to transform themselves and embrace the unknown.
