A Panorama of Hunan

Following its debut at the United Nations and acclaimed runs at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, A Panorama of Hunan comes to London for a special performance. This concert brings together the musicians of China’s Hunan Song and Dance Theatre with the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra, blending Chinese traditional instruments with a British symphonic sound. Presented during the mid-Autumn season, the programme explores themes of reunion and celebration through traditional favorites and contemporary compositions. Audiences will hear instruments such as the erhu, pipa, sheng, and bamboo flute performed by leading soloists in the historic setting of Central Hall Westminster.
