Julieta Venegas

Julieta Venegas grew up in Tijuana, Baja California, and began her musical journey studying classical piano at the age of eight. The daughter of Mexican photographers, she was the only one of five siblings to pursue music. In addition to piano, she studied music theory, vocals, and cello at the Escuela de Música del Noroeste and South Western College in San Diego. Her multifaceted training and cultural background have shaped her into a celebrated figure in the Latin music scene.
