Argentine pianist Nelson Goerner returns to Wigmore Hall with a programme that explores improvisatory freedom and passionate drama. The evening features JS Bach's inventive Toccata in C minor BWV911, followed by the emotional complexity of Robert Schumann's Fantasie in C Op. 17. The second half of the recital is dedicated to the intense drama of Schubert's Piano Sonata in C minor D958, a work composed during the final year of the composer's life.
