Micah Thomas presents his album release show for "Lucid". Born in 1997 in Columbus, Ohio, Thomas began playing piano by ear at age 2 and later received his Master of Music from Juilliard. He has performed internationally as a leader and a steady member of the Immanuel Wilkins Quartet, alongside touring with artists like Joshua Redman and Ambrose Akinmusire. His debut album, Tide, was released in 2020 to critical acclaim, followed by Piano Solo and Mountains. Recognized as a significant emerging talent, he was voted 'Up-and-Comer of the Year' by The New York City Jazz Records in 2024. In addition to his performance career, Thomas is a faculty member at The New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music.
