Emerging from the 1980s London scene where punk met rockabilly, Guana Batz became a definitive force in the Psychobilly genre. Formed by singer Pip Hancox and guitarist Stuart Osborne, the quartet rose to prominence with their debut album 'Held down at last' and their famous cover of Bruce Springsteen's 'I'm on fire'. After a hiatus in the early 90s, the band reunited for Berlin's Wildcat Weekend in 1995 and has since remained a staple of the live circuit. Their 2018 release 'Back to the Jungle' marked their first new material in two decades, and their current live set features both new tracks and classic fan favorites like 'King Rat'.
