DA CAPO is an intimate performance and conversation series that brings audiences closer to the lives behind the music. Each evening pairs a carefully curated live set with an honest, open dialogue about creativity, ambition, artistic identity, and the realities of building a life in the arts. On August 29th, the series hosts Ghanaian-Burkinabé singer-songwriter Ria Boss. Known for her soulful blend of neo-soul, jazz, and R&B, she returned to Accra after honing her talents in New York City. Her debut live album "REMEMBER" received critical acclaim, and she recently released her new EP, The Waiting Room. Beyond her music, Ria is a visual artist and community architect, co-founding the Ria Boss Open Mic and serving as a creative lead for Black Girls Glow. The evening promises exceptional music and a high-quality sound experience combined with honest conversation.
