Catch Der Assistent performing live at Le POPUP du Label with dub-infused pop tracks and Casio grooves. Tickets on Mood.
Der Assistent is the project of Berlin-based producer Tom Hessler. His pop tracks infused with dub influences blend melancholy and joy into a seamless experience. His one-man band project features Timmy Thomas-esque grooves, jazzy Casio sounds, West Coast woodwinds, and the occasional amateur guitar solo. His dreamlike narratives move fluidly between mystery, film noir, and romance, creating a relaxed atmosphere filled with positive energy.
