Fauré’s setting is paired with Herbert Howells' powerful and intensely personal Requiem. The performance begins at 8:30pm and will last about 70 minutes without interval, giving concert-goers time to have dinner before the performance. The L’Inviti Singers are one of the UK’s best-kept choral secrets, with singers handpicked from the country’s top chamber choirs including Tenebrae, The Sixteen, and the Monteverdi Choir.
