Alarm Will Sound performs a 50th-anniversary spatial installation of Music for 18 Musicians at Park Avenue Armory. Tickets on Mood.
To commemorate the 50th anniversary of its premiere, the Park Avenue Armory hosts a staged presentation of Steve Reich's groundbreaking work 'Music for 18 Musicians.' Directed by Alan Pierson, the production features Alarm Will Sound performing alongside original Steve Reich Ensemble members and Manhattan School of Music students. Expanded into an encircling, durational presentation, the performance transforms the classic piece into an immersive spatial sound installation.
