De Cello Yurt op het terras van het Muziekgebouw is sinds 2022 een vast onderdeel van het festivalprogramma. Tijdens deze intieme sessies presenteren diverse festivalcellisten een soloprogramma van ongeveer 45 minuten. Het unieke aan dit concept is dat het publiek vooraf niet weet welke artiest er zal optreden of welk repertoire er gespeeld wordt. Van modern tot klassiek, jazz of pop: alles is mogelijk in deze bijzondere setting.
