The Flaming Lips
Ντόπια, ωμή βραδιά neo-psychedelic
The Flaming Lips are an alternative rock outfit from Oklahoma City founded by the eclectic Wayne Coyne. The band is renowned for their spectacular and eccentric live shows, featuring elaborate costumes, puppets, confetti, and Wayne Coyne's signature man-sized plastic bubble. Since their formation, they have consistently pushed boundaries with critically acclaimed albums such as The Soft Bulletin and Yoshimi Battles The Pink Robots. Their career is marked by constant creativity, from USB releases encased in gummy skulls to high-profile collaborations and tribute projects. In 2019, they released their 15th studio album, King's Mouth, narrated by Mick Jones of The Clash. This performance is part of the Somerset House Summer Series 2026.
