Influenzato dal film Wild Style, è entrato nel mondo del DJing hip hop nei primi anni ’80 e nel 1992 ha iniziato la sua attività da solista, attirando l’attenzione poichè tra i primissimi a utilizzare abilmente il giradischi come uno strumento. Nel corso di oltre 30 anni di carriera si è esibito in festival prestigiosi come Glastonbury, Coachella, Montreux Jazz e Sonar.
