In anticipation of the release of Philip Corner’s ‘Passage Through: A Ritual’ LP, The Hotel proudly presents its first recital. The Hotel invites Philip Corner’s pianist of choice, Agnese Toniutti, to Cafe OTO to perform a concert of Corner’s works on the grand piano. As prelude, The Hotel will host a premiere of Miles Lukoszevieze’s new piece ‘Self-Shadowing Prey’ for live electronics and playback ensemble, inspired by the writings of Ghérasim Luca. Passage Through: A Ritual LP by Philip Corner is released 14th September, with advance copies available for sale at the event, alongside other titles from The Hotel.
