65 Jahre Mauerbau
Υπαίθρια, νοσταλγική βραδιά alternative rock
August 13, 2026, marks the 65th anniversary of the start of construction of the Berlin Wall. To commemorate this occasion, a temporary memorial site will be set up at the Brandenburg Gate featuring installations, exhibitions, guided tours, and discussions. A 30-meter-long installation on Platz des 18. März brings the physical presence of the former border to life through shifts in perspective. Parallel to this, the open-air exhibition "Views of the Wall: Berlin 1961–1990" presents historical photographs of daily life under division. The program includes conversations with eyewitnesses, readings, and concerts. Please note that the installation and exhibition will be closed on August 15 due to the Rave The Planet Parade, but they will remain open on August 17 as an extension of the program period.
