New Cross Live presents the alt-metal powerhouse O.R.k., a supergroup formed by composer and vocalist LEF alongside legendary King Crimson drummer Pat Mastelotto. The band features guitarist Carmelo Pipitone of Marta Sui Tubi and bassist Colin Edwin, formerly of Porcupine Tree. Since their debut album Inflamed Rides in 2015, the group has established a unique sound across subsequent releases including Soul of an Octopus, Ramagehead, and Screamnasium. Their fifth studio effort, Firehose of Falsehoods, was released in April 2025. Known for their high-energy live performances and creative collaborations with artists like Serj Tankian and Jo Quail, O.R.k. continues to push the boundaries of progressive and alternative metal.
