Rotational, Tash LC, Mina, Teddy Kitano, Sho Gabi, and Joseph Wood join forces at AAJA to raise funds for Diaki Radio FM, DJ Diaki’s community radio station being built in Siby, Southern Mali. Community radio projects like Diaki Radio FM play a crucial role in helping people stay informed and connected as conflict intensifies in Mali. Diaki Radio FM will provide a platform for the people of Siby, helping to preserve and celebrate Mandé culture while offering access to local news and public information. Every contribution supports the community of Siby and access to reliable, community-led media. The Diaki Radio Fundraiser brings together key figures who have helped amplify African and Afro-diasporic sounds. Rotational, Tash LC, and Mina have each built strong international profiles as touring DJs and broadcasters, while staying closely connected to the scenes they move through.
