The Anatolian women's choir Seyyare (Turkish for "wandering" or "on the move") was formed as a collective singing tribute during the funeral of activist Filiz Taşkın. Founded and directed by singer Sema Moritz, the group consists of 20 women with migration and exile backgrounds. Their diverse repertoire spans centuries of vocal traditions from Anatolia, the Balkans, and the Caucasus, performed in over ten languages. As part of a residency during the Kyiv Biennial, the choir invites the public to an open rehearsal to experience their creative process.
