The 7th Annual Leimert Park Jazz Festival returns to South L.A. for a family-friendly celebration that bridges jazz traditions with contemporary innovation. This year's event honors the legacy of John Coltrane through a special project by José James and celebrates the life of founding West Coast Get Down member Ryan Porter. The festival offers more than just music, featuring a visual art pavilion, diverse marketplaces, a dedicated kids' zone, and a food court with both vegan and non-vegan options. Community members can also enjoy a wine and beer lounge and various resource zones, all set against the backdrop of one of Los Angeles' most vibrant cultural hubs.
