When the streets of Schöneberg around the magnificent brick Apostel-Paulus-Kirche light up for the festive season, the famous Golden Gospel Pearls open their Christmas concert schedule. Under the direction of Donna Brown, they brought gospel to Berlin in the early 1990s and have remained loyal to the city ever since. Featuring gifted singers accompanied by bass, drums, and Donna Brown on piano, the ensemble draws from a wide repertoire. Their soulful voices bring gospel flair through interpretations of classics like "Amazing Grace", "Down By The Riverside", and "The First Noel", alongside original Christmas medleys. These performances offer a unique and emotional experience that captures the joyful spirit of Christmas.
