Gordon Matthew Thomas Sumner CBE, professionally known as Sting, is a renowned English musician and singer-songwriter who rose to fame as the frontman for the new wave band The Police. Following the group's success in the late 70s and early 80s with hits like 'Every Breath You Take', Sting launched a highly successful solo career in 1985. His solo work often blends rock and pop with jazz influences, earning him numerous accolades including sixteen Grammy Awards and three Brit Awards. For this performance at Brooklyn Paramount, he is joined by the rock band Fiction Plane.
