The evening features two distinct musical performances. The first set showcases the trio of Anna Kaluza, Tomás Becket, and Axel Filip. The second set presents Ignaz Schick’s Decollage 3, an ensemble with roots in the New Improvisers Ensemble. Initially formed to interpret the works of Don Cherry and his circle, the group has evolved through structured compositions by Ignaz Schick to develop a unique improvisational language. Their music now fluidly merges elements of contemporary music, jazz, and European abstract music.
