The ninth edition of Tina Edwards’ jazz dancefloor party welcomes a pioneering legend of jazz dance, Paul Murphy of Jazz Room Records. Expect uncompromising percussion, high tempo break-downs, and luscious horns. The night opens with a free entry, beginner-friendly jazz dancefloor lesson led by dancer Masumi Endo, followed by a performance from dance collective Foot Notes before the headline set. The musical experience orbits jazz, expanding into Latin and Brazilian rhythms, jazz-disco, and broken beat.
