As part of Pride Amsterdam, OUT Ensemble presents a concert at the English Church on the Begijnhof. This US-based wind quintet of LGBTQ+ musicians is dedicated to performing and commissioning works by queer composers, aiming to increase representation in classical music and inspire audiences to embrace their authentic identities. The program explores a wide range of musical colors, from the sultry sounds of jazz to exuberant celebrations. Highlights include the world premiere of a new transcription of Dutch composer Henriëtte Bosmans' String Quartet, alongside international premieres of commissions by Nora Farley and Mattie Levy.
