Since winning the Chopin Competition more than 15 years ago, Yulianna Avdeeva has followed an impressive artistic path that has taken her to the most important concert halls in the world. In this season, she returns to the Pierre Boulez Saal for two appearances. Her first program highlights the 20th and 21st centuries with works by Maurice Ravel, Pierre Boulez, and the German premiere of a new composition by Dai Fujikura—concluding with Chopin as a return to her musical roots.
